Background
Claremont, California
Row earned her bachelor’s degree at Scripps College and the Claremont Colleges.
She double majored in English with a Creative Writing Emphasis and Digital/Electronic Media Studies.
Portland, Oregon
Row then completed a fellowship year with Quaker Voluntary Service at Outside In Clinic.
She worked as a Youth Engagement Specialist, enrolling unhoused youth in the Oregon Health Plan and leading a weekly Free Write workshop.
Richmond, Indiana
After her volunteer year, Row received the full-tuition Leadership & Service Scholarship to attend Earlham School of Religion.
She earned a master’s degree in Theopetics and Writing, publishing several poems from her thesis manuscript.
After graduation, she started writing and editing full-time and moved to Chicago!
